Quelque 250.000 personnes ont besoin d'assistance humanitaire sur les 350.000 qui vivent dans la ville des Gonaïves, la plus touchée par les intempéries, a souligné la porte-parole.

Un précédent bilan faisait état de 136 personnes tuées par le passage d'Hanna mercredi.

«Some 250.000 people need humanitarian aid on the 350.000 which lives in the city of Gonaïves in Haiti, the most touched by the bad weather, underlined the spokesperson. A preceding assessment gave a report on 136 people killed by the passage Hanna Wednesday.»
