Someone Help me! I help someone else!

The young volunteers in Haiti have been calling and emailing different International Organization to get some food, water and tents -- for the last three weeks we been helping them from Canada and from New York -- we were able to talk directly with the cluster head coordinators for OCHA (United Nations office for the coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Haiti) but they are very busy -- and there si to many demands they cannot assist all the population.

La Plaine is a suburbs West of Port Au Prince. -- It's like the «Vaudreuil-Solange region » -- to far from the Capital. Since today there is no organization that is directly connect -- like the Red Cross, Oxfam, Unicef with La Plaine.

So the RIH in Quebec will organize collect -- and hopefully Oxfam will distribuate to the people in La Plaine and Fond'oies.

The idea is to help the RIH volunteers and the population they are now taking charge -- and them they will go and help others -- creating a reciprocity chain!
